Glowing Julianne Moore looks gorgeous in plunging gown as she is honored at Alzheimer's gala for her Oscar-winning role in Still Alice!

She won a best actress Oscar for her role as a brilliant linguistics professor struck down with Alzheimer's disease in Still Alice. And on Monday night Julianne Moore was honoured again, this time by the Alzheimer's Association New York City Chapter. It awarded the star its Creative Leadership award at its annual Forget-Me-Not Gala at The Pierre Hotel in New York.

The 54-year-old looked radiant in a black dress with a square neck, which she paired with simple black sandals and blingy, statement earrings. Her signature red hair was centre-parted to frame her face and she wore very little make-up beyond eye liner and mascara, with some pink blush and pale pink lipstick. The organisation thanked Julianne Moore 'for the extraordinary contribution she has made to heightening public awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and the challenges for families struggling to care for those they love.'
