James Corden sharpens up in navy blue as he's joined by proud wife Julia Carey at Buckingham Palace to receive OBE honour!

James Corden headed to London's Buckingham Palace on Thursday to receive his OBE honour. The father of two - presenter of America's The Late Late Show, writer of Brit favourite Gavin & Stacey and West End actor - has conquered the US in recent months but his presence is evidently still felt strongly in the UK. The 36-year-old comedian was accompanied by his proud wife Julia Carey when he picked up the honour - which stands for Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire - for his services to drama.

James was looking sharp in a deep blue suit and brown shoes when he was recognised for his performance in comic play One Man, Two Guvnors - a show that went on to achieve Broadway success. The actor described the honour as 'wonderful' but said he felt rather unworthy of it.
