Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum says he's not jealous Jesse Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luthor!

He's not green with envy - that's just all the Kryptonite. Michael Rosenbaum is not jealous he wasn't offered the role of Lex Luthor in the new Batman V Superman film, and thinks Jesse Eisenberg will be 'great'. The 43-year-old played Superman's former friend and eventual nemesis in the hit TV show Smallville for seven seasons.

When asked at Comic-Con during the weekend by toofab.com if he'll be watching The Social Network star filling his shoes on the big screen, he replied: 'I'll always check things out.' 'I don't hold grudges like "Oh, it isn't me!"' he added. 'Eisenberg will be great.' However he did jokingly question why the villain was always cast by actors with very Jewish names. 'Why's it always the Jews with Lex Luthor?' he said, donning a spoof accent. 'Rosenbaum, Eisenberg, what's going on here?'
