It's a great year to be a Star Wars fan.
On Tuesday Disney announced another Star Wars film, this one in addition to Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens as well as Rogue One.
Deadline reported that the upcoming movie will focus on beloved smuggler-turned-rebel hero Han Solo, originally portrayed by Harrison Ford. The film will center around Solo on his days before he joined up with the rebel alliance, and already has a release date: May 25, 2018.
Disney also announced that the latest film for the Star Wars franchise will be directed by the duo behind 2014 hit The Lego Movie, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
The script will be penned by Lawrence Kasdan, who also wrote for Star Wars films Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983).
Lawrence, who will be joined on the project by his son Jon Kasdan, is also working on the upcoming The Force Awakens.
